Bonar Hall

The main sessions of the Dundee Mountain Film Festival programme are held at the Bonar Hall, Park Place which is on the University of Dundee Campus (Postcode DD1 4HN). Details of parking here. Note that if you are parking on the pay and display sites on the University campus you have to pay now. There is no longer free parking at weekends. Dundee University Campus layout here (pdf file). The Ustinov Room is in the Bonar Hall complex (upstairs).The Greenmarket multistorey car park is probably the nearest reliable parking place.

Abertay University

AbertayAbertay theatreThe Thursday Evening event will be  held at the Abertay University,  Main Lecture Theatre  in  the  Kydd  Building  40  Bell  Street,  Dundee  DD1 1HG.

There is some on street parking after 6pm on the streets around Abertay University. However, the West Bell Street Multi Storey Car Park is very close to Abertay University.

 

 

Parking

The Greenmarket multistorey car park is probably the nearest reliable parking place for the festival, and is free after 6pm –  but free after 3pm on Friday 23th November (2018)  only as this one of the “Christmas Light Nights” evenings. The city centre will be very busy all weekend with other “Light Nights” related events and there are some road closures.

The other council parking areas (the Olympia Multi Storey Car Park and the Gellatly Street Multi Storey Car Park)  are also free after 3pm on 23th November (2018), and are free after 6pm on other evenings. . You can get information about parking in Dundee here.

For the Thursday evening, there is some on street parking after 6pm on the streets around Abertay University. However, the West Bell Street Multi Storey Car Park is very close to Abertay University.
